Description

The Evolution Aqua Surge Filter now offers enhanced flexibility with the inclusion of the optional Varipump 10000 and an 18-watt UV light.

The Evolution Aqua Surge Filter, along with the Varipump 10000 and 18-watt UV, is suitable for use in quarantine systems or as a solo filter in smaller ponds, accommodating capacities of up to 5,000 Litres / 1,100 Gallons / 1,320 US Gallons.

The Evolution Aqua 10000 Varipump is a powerful Pond pump that produces high output for the most demanding of ponds.

Varipump is a controllable unit that uses an external digital display control box to power the pump. A simple to use button allows you to adjust the output and energy consumption of the unit. Because of a six pole and three-phase internal motor, the Varipump is a quiet and reliable pump as well as being powerful enough to run in a larger pond system.

Each pump has a strong cage covering the main section that allows easy water flow but restricts large debris from coming into contact with the rotor inside. The Varipump can be installed either dry, as part of a gravity-fed filter system, or submersed in water as part of a pump-fed system. The Surge Filter is simple to install and clean, thanks to Evolution Aqua's unique Air Clean Technology. This unique air syphon design draws air into the filter as it empties, agitating the water and effectively cleaning the K+Media.

The Evolution Aqua K + Media is moulded with minerals for faster beneficial bacteria development. K + media also has a much larger surface area than any other media.

Unlike foam, matting, or other forms of static filtration media, the K+ Media is designed to move freely within your filter as a moving bed filtration system. The constant movement of the pressure from your pump, causes the media to self clean and thus requires no maintenance.

This allows the filter to reach optimum effectiveness without the disturbance of periodic cleaning, avoiding unnecessary loss of bacteria within the filter.

There are no dirty sponges or foams to clean, so you can keep your hands dry and spend more time enjoying your pond.
